Elkin - Watershed now
2017
This project was a collaboration between Watershed Now, Elkin high school in Elkin, NC and Authoring Action.
Students researched the watershed and current issues affecting the river and surrounding areas.
Elkins community members are concerned with issues such as agricultural runoff, pollution and clean water preservation. Students were also involved in brainstorming solutions to local runoff problem areas.
The final presentation of writing pieces and images gathered was given to the board of education, commissioners, and to parents and teachers.

BRENNER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
2016-current
Authoring Action Creative Director, Nathan Ross Freeman regularly works with pediatric oncology patients in Brenner Children's Hospital. This is in collaboration with Arts of Life. The ongoing workshop involves both patients and their parents.
